Westendorf Christmas Market

The 2018 Christmas Market was small, cosy but above all a family occasion. The Westendorf Christmas Market presents itself every year and is held at the open air music pavillion.

Numerous street-stalls offerd not only tasty wares and hot drinks like any Christmas Market but also Tirolean handicrafts and seasonal decorations etc.

Music and entertainment traditional and with a modern flair for all the family were also in abundance.

The first „heavy“ snow of the winter had fallen 5 days earlier; it was crisp and cold out.

Children were gathered around an open fire toasting tasty morsels on sticks and the village was alive with final preparations for what was looking to become a seriously good skiing winter season 2019.
